The fact is health insurance matters to everyone. It affects the kinds of care we receive and our financial security. Moreover, for anyone on or eligible for Medicare, health insurance is especially important.

The Medicare Matters video is intended to help you understand your Medicare coverage options and how to choose the plan that best fits your needs. The video explains:

what you need to do over the next few months to prepare for your 65th birthday;
the different parts of Medicare coverage;
the plans offered by Independence Blue Cross (IBC);
how to enroll in an IBC plan.

From beginning to end, the video takes about 15 minutes to watch. At anytime, you can pause, skip, or move forward and backward through the various sections of the video. At the end of each section, you will have the opportunity to print out an outline of the topics discussed.
